Sumitro Chatterjee specialises in commercial litigation, product liability and securities fraud, internal company investigations, SEC investigations relating to specific CDO transactions and collapse of funds, Suspicious Activity Report and Bank Examination Report analysis, foreign regulatory inquiries and International litigation.
Sumitro started his legal innovation journey as a contracts specialist at Pangea3 (via Thomson Reuters). Rising through the ranks of one of the World's largest LPOs, Sumitro moved into the world of eDiscovery, eventually managing one of the largest global review teams serving Fortune 500 and AM Law clients in some of the most impactful matters on the planet. He has over 16 years' experience in legal tech/outsourcing industry where he innovated with project management using Six Sigma techniques.
After 10 years, Sumitro moved into the world of legal technology at Thomson Reuters, managing APAC clients whom he trained on legal technology. Sumitro is most proud of his work mentoring aspiring lawyers and teaching them how to leverage the right blend of technology and people.
Sumitro is the alumnus of the Indraprastha University, Amity law School, New Delhi, India and of the Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, New Delhi.
