PRACTISE

Our infrastructure and construction practice focuses on disputes resolution. We arbitrate and litigate projects including on large construction projects including thermal plants, hospitals, shipbuilding docks, cement plants, spice manufacturing units and glass factory.

We represent private parties in government contract litigation before High Courts and in arbitrations.

We also pursue builder-buyer and developer-owner disputes before Consumer Courts and on contractual disputes.

EXPERIENCE

We have extensive experience of working on infrastructure and construction disputes. We have been lead counsel in disputes on large construction projects including thermal plants, hospitals, shipbuilding docks, cement plants, spice manufacturing units and glass factory.

We also regularly handle Bank Guarantee related litigation and interim relief(s) from Courts and Arbitral Tribunals.

We are known for our in-depth understanding of the infrastructure and construction sector, our strength of litigation and arbitration, and our familiarity with sector specific contracts.

INITIATIVES

We regularly engage with infrastructure and construction sector by writing, speaking at conferences, and organizing Events.

To discuss topical legal issues on the sector we organized a full-day conference each in the year 2010 and 2011 which was attended by Hon’ble Judges of the Supreme Court of India and the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, foreign law firms, senior advocates, general counsels, lawyers and industry experts.
